Local History Group
The Local History Group meets on the last Wednesday of every month. The session lasts from 10am to 12 midday. Very often Speakers are invited to attend and occasional trips out are arranged.
The Group recently received funding from Carmarthenshire County Council which has enabled them to commission a heritage audit of the area, a DVD of local memories and colourful pamphlets noting the main historical attractions of the area. The Group is hoping to add to the material in the audit on database and to share this information locally and nationally.
