Cor Merched Glannau’r Gwendraeth – Christmas Concert
Tuesday 3 December 2024, a very warm welcome to everyone.
Community Singing Organised by the Rainbows, Brownies and Guides
Thursday 19 December 6-8pm – No charge to attend but raffle, refreshments, mince pies/tea/coffee/biscuits and crisps and pop for the children. Stall selling different Christmas items. Everyone welcome.
Local Produce Market - next one is on Saturday 21 December – get your Christmas goodies! Please come and support our local community
Local meats, vegetables and fruit, plants, flowers, bread, eggs, cakes, pastries, jams and chutneys, cheesecakes, honey, and cheese. Craft stalls also in attendance – home made cards, needlework, knitted garments and toys, jewellery.
Help sustainability and support your local producer.
In conjunction with the market, refreshments will be available raising funds for individual charities.
Lovely chance to come down and meet up with all your village friends.

Actif Sports and Leisure/Chwaraeon Hamdden Actif
Actif are introducing sessions covering a diverse range of activities such as physical literacy, fitness, walking sports, health, wealth and wellbeing.
Whist – every Friday night 7.30pm
Charity Whist - once a month on the third Saturday of every month 7.30pm (NOT AT PRESENT)
Bingo - (NOT AT PRESENT) every Wednesday night. Come along around 8pm to buy your tickets and the game starts at around 8.30pm. 20p entry. £1 for a book of 8 games but you can buy as many books as you wish. Prizes given for the house and also a chance to win £100 for the Snowball. This is if you call a house when less than 55 numbers are called. For more details please contact K C on 01269 860895.
