Clwb Gwawr y Gwendraeth
The First Clwb Gwawr in Wales! We meet usually on last Thursday of the month in the Square and Compass, Pontyates unless an outside activity has been arranged.
All meetings are held in Welsh. (Learners are welcome and encouraged to participate).
Previous meetings and activities have included jewellery parties, make-up demonstrations, cup cake competitions, switch parties, wine tasting, archery, bingo, various talks eg Amish community, Welsh love customs and traditions, local history, patchwork and needlepoint display, Sari exhibition. Excellent company, lots of fun.
Trips away – Bath, Aberaeron, Cardiff, Walks, visits to theatre, San Ffagan, Ffos Las, restaurants.
Cost is £15.00 per annum. Age group – young at heart! Something to suit everybody. Any suggestions welcome.
